Vins Fins du Périgord
Vins Fins du Périgord has been a key element in the Bergerac appellation since its creation in 1939 and was even the first winery in the world to install rotary fermentation tanks.
Located in the south west of France, in the Dordogne region, Bergerac has Bordeaux as closest neighbour. They both share the same soils (calcareous Clay for the biggest part) and the same grape varieties (Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc in red, Sauvignon and Semillon in white).
Vins Fins du Périgord represents 900 wine growers, which have communal production facilities and a shared view on quality production.
It has a vineyard surface area of 7000Ha, vinifying 200 000 hectolitres, 54% of which are red wine.
A quality selection of wines is available from Vins Fins du Périgord and includes:
Chêne Bergerac Rosé
Chêne Bergerac Sauvignon
Chêne Bergerac Merlot-Cabernet
