The Duras Vineyards

The Duras vineyards are situated in the Lot et Garonne between the Dordogne river to the North, the Garonne to the South and are bounded to the West by the Bordeaux Appellation vineyards.

Vineyards are mostly on the summits of the hills and grow on south facing slopes.

The Duras Appellation consists of 2,000 hectares. Berticot controls 1,000 hectares from 110 growers, vinifying 55,000 hectolitres - 55% of which are white wines.

Since 1998 Prodiffu has become the leading player in the Duras vineyard through its Berticot brand, an emblematic figure for all the different Côtes de Duras wines.

Berticot Sauvignon, Merlot and Rosé are available in 75cl, 37.5cl and 18.75cl in cork and screwcap.

Berticot also offer a range of petits Chateaux from the Bordeaux appellations.
